COVID Protocols 1.3

The scale and speed of the COVID-19 pandemic present an unprecedented scenario in the era of modern medicine. The knowledge, data, and resources available are continuously evolving. The guidelines and protocols are being shared publicly to disseminate our current understanding and to foster a mutual exchange of information and experiences. Contributions of practice patterns, new data, guidelines, and literature are encouraged. It is hoped that this pandemic will lead to a new era of collaboration in Evidence-Based Medicine.

We are a team comprising over 100 healthcare professionals, including physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and nurses from Brigham and Women’s Hospital across various divisions. Each section is overseen by an editor, has multiple contributors, and benefits from senior advisors. The guidelines are constantly updated based on clinical experience, user feedback, and the latest literature. A multidisciplinary committee convenes bi-weekly to deliberate on guidelines relevant to different stakeholders.

This application and related policies were developed by Partners HealthCare medical professionals and employees.
